Merida is a well known Disney princess from the movie Brave, about a girl who overcomes her fate while helping her mother after accidentally turning her into a bear. Elsa is a Queen in Disney's Frozen, who accepts her once hidden ice powers to help her sister and her kingdom. Belle from Disney's Beauty and the Beast, journeys to find her father whom was held captive by a powerful beast and ends up living the fairy tales she has dreamed of while reading her books. Ariel, Disney's Little Mermaid, risks everything including her beautiful voice for the love of her life, a human prince named Eric. Alice, a curious girl in Wonderland, travels in the mysterious world encountering all manner of mad things. Peter Pan, Disney's magical original lost boy, entertains the love of childhood with fellow lost boys and Wendy Darling, while battling the evil Captain Hook. The Apocalypse Disney cosplays are inspired by French artist Kasami Sensei's designs. These awesome photos were taken during a hang out with us and friends... It is almost every little girl's dream growing up...becoming a real Disney Princess. We got together for RenChan's birthday celebration and decided to put on our favorite princesses until we are able to do our complete Disney Princess group coming Spring of 2021. We think Mouzycat is the perfect slumbering princess, YomuChan is brilliant as Belle, and RenChan and Luna make the best sister princesses ever! These amazing photos were taken at Gordon Moore Rose Garden in September 2020 during the pandemic, while creating a bit of magic for ourselves. The cosplay group that almost wasn't. We had been planning for this huge group before the pandemic took for months. Clearly when Spring 2020 hit and there was a global crisis at hand, cosplay took a back seat for a while. Finally last year, we were excited to get together in the Spring of 2021. Once things had settled and we all were vaccinated, we were able to come together and finally bring of dream of Disney magic to life! While it wasn't all of the Princesses, we were certainly grateful to those who could make it and it's so thrilling to finally be able to share these with you all! Encanto is the story of the family Madrigal, but most importantly Mirabel. Her whole family has been blessed with special gifts and she is the only one to have no received one. On the eve of her cousin's ceremony to receive his gift, a family heartache and threat of destruction to her family, leads Mirabel to self-discovery. After separating herself for years from her beloved sister Anna, Elsa who has a unknown power she is afraid she can't control is about to be made Queen of the kingdom of Arendelle. Elsa finds herself fleeing after an accidental use of her power turns her kingdom into a never ending winter. Her sister Anna determined to bring her sister back joins up with Kristoff, his reindeer, and a snowman named Olaf to bring back Elsa and save Arendelle. RenChan never had an absolute favorite princess growing up and accidently was assigned to cosplay Elsa in their group due to needing to fill the character but this has since changed. Elsa's love for her home and family and her independent spirit resonate with RenChan making her the perfect Disney Princess..ahem...Queen. These photos were taken by RenChan's husband in Winter 2021. Frozen 2 is the follow up to Disney's Frozen. Queen Elsa of Arendelle is powerful and loves her sister Anna with all her heart but something is missing and she feels trapped by her obligations to the people of Arendelle. One night after hearing a "call" of sorts Elsa feels in her soul that she should travel to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond her kingdom. Princess Anna refuses to let her go out along and insists on coming with her dragging her beau Kristoff in tow. The 3 along with the sassy snowman Olaf set off on a journey of self-discovery and secrets of the Arendelle Kingdom are uncovered that change Elsa and Anna forever. Ralph Breaks the Internet, the sequel to Disney's Wreck It Ralph, follows the continuing the story of Ralph and Vanellope's friendship. With this new addition to the story, the duo goes on an adventure to find a replacement steering wheel for Sugar Rush which introduces the beloved characters to the world of the internet. One of the most talked about features of this film was the inclusion of the Disney Princesses and their casual attire. The CKC girls were inspired by all the fun to run our own complete Disney Princess Casual shoot including our very own little Vanellope. Luna is an absolutely huge fan of Tangled and the follow up series and is honestly our very best Rapunzel we could have ever asked for. These incredible shots were taken by our best friend Mouzycat Cosplay Photographer during the pandemic in 2020 with social distancing in mind and brought some of the famous glow from Rapunzel into some dark times.
