Ryoko is a main character in the Tenchi Muyo! metaseries. Ryoko is a semi-reformed space pirate who is madly in love with Tenchi Masaki, the main protagonist. She is always shown to have a very competitive relationship with Princess Ayeka, who also has a very strong romantic interest in Tenchi. Ryoko has differing abilities between the different continuities (the OVA, Tenchi Universe and so on), but her aggressive, emotional personality tends to remain the same.

Sango is an important member of the group and consistently fights off the affections of Miroku while secretly harboring love for him.
Naraku is the main antagonist in InuYasha. After the bandit Onigumo allowed himself to be consumed by demons in order to be with Kikyo, Naraku was born. Naraku then turned on both Kikyo and InuYasha and set in motion the events of the entire series. He often sends his incarnations Kagura, Kanna, and company out to do his bidding. Naraku seeks to defile the Shikon Jewel once it is whole.

Serena is a Pokémon Trainer and Performer from the Kalos region and was one of Ash's traveling companions during his journey in the Kalos Region. Her goal is to be named Kalos Queen, the highest prestige achievable for Pokémon Performers.
Iris is a young girl who is one of Ash's travelling companions in the Unova region in the series Pokemon.

Yusuke is the main protagonist of Yu Yu Hakusho. Yusuke started as a juvenile delinquent but, after being killed in an accident is resurrected by Botan to become a Spirit Detective. He along with his Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, Keiko, Genkai, Koenma and Botan protect the Human World from supernatural threats.
Botan is a guide to the Spirit World and close friend to Yusuke Urameshi. She is a spirit charged with ferrying souls of the deceased to the Spirit World to face their final judgment. As opposed to the idea of there only being a single one, she is one of many grim reapers.
Akane is the leading female character of Ranma ½. She is the youngest of Soun Tendo's three daughters and one of the heirs to the Anything Goes School of Martial Arts. Akane is engaged to Ranma as part of an agreement made by their fathers. Akane is feisty and insecure at times but helpful towards anyone in trouble.

Kodachi is one of Ranma Saotome's suitors. She is the younger sister of Tatewaki Kuno and the daughter of Principal Kuno. Kodachi is known for her streamer and quintessential laugh.
Merle is a cat person who is close in many ways to Van Fanel in Visions of Escaflowne. Merle also over the course of the series forms a sister like bond with Hitomi after an initial rocky start.
(Human version) Luna is Usagi's black guardian cat, as well as her and the other Sailor Senshi's adviser. She lives with Usagi and she is shown growing close to Artemis, another feline guardian who belongs to Minako Aino/Sailor Venus.
